| The branches were so heavy with peaches, we had several of them break off. Brian even thinned the peaches taking 2 wheelbarrows full of them off when they were smaller. |
Looks great! How many trees do you have? Do you get peaches every year? We have one tree here, and got a boat load of peaches our first year (2 summers ago I think), but nothing since. Then this year it died, as we had a crazy warm spell, then super cold freeze last fall. Here they say if you have a peach tree you should only expect fruit once every 5 years or so.
ReplyDeleteWe have 6 trees, hence, all the peaches. Not sure what Brian was thinking. We get a good crop of peaches about every other year but last year should have been the year. We didn't have any because of an early warm up and then a hard freeze.
