Evan had his physical today and is officially growing. He is within 1/2" of me but thinks he is taller than me. I will have to post a picture of us back to back and get everyone's opinion. He's grown 3 inches and gained 17 pounds in the last year, which is ALOT for him compared to past years.
Evan has also made the decision to attend Blissfield Schools this fall so he can play soccer. Whiteford does not have a soccer team - not enough kids to support that and football. I think this is a huge decision for him but am proud that he is following through on something that he truly loves to do.
Austin is still working almost full time doing landscaping, irrigation, laying stone, building outdoor fireplaces, etc. His boss really likes his work and has told Austin he should plan on working for him during the summer through college. Yeah!!!!! In one week he found a job and a S-10 pickup truck. It's a 1998 with only 85,000 miles and in very good condition. Just right for him!
Austin has also been doing football workouts. He's a busy boy and I don't have to tell him to go to bed! Whiteford does have a home game the night before Sarah and Brandon's wedding, so anyone traveling this way for the wedding is invited to come to the game and probably a tailgate party at our house.
Yesterday was a busy day for me working the election - a 15 hour day 6:15 am to 9:00 pm. I'm tired from all the socializing that happens during that day.
Hopefully Evan's new school and Austin's school aren't rivals!
